I graduated with honours from London Metropolitan University 2012.
My Final honours brief ‘STUFF’ was selected for exhibition at D&AD New Blood 2012, held at Spitalfields Market, London.
Upon graduation I was awarded with the Principles Award for demonstrating outstanding studentship and the Graphic Design Award for outstanding achievement.
I have great enthusiasm in the theory and typography of Wayfinding. I demonstrated this in my final honours dissertation titled ‘Wayfinding & Gatwick Airport’ which saw me put in many hours of research. I met with Gatwick management where I researched in great depth the inside of Gatwick’s new Wayfinding solutions. This scheme was the subject of the Sky television programme ‘Inside Gatwick’ (aired 2011). This led me to become a member of the Sign Design Society, London. I aspire to a Wayfinding project in which I can apply my in depth knowledge to.
I like working with people and companies who can’t afford the sky prices charged by corporate design agencies but want a professional and outstanding service. By giving the ‘personal touch’ and working with my clients to fully understand their needs and motivations, I can produce an original piece of work that will make a real impact.
